What are headers?

The headers are additional key/value pairs of data that are included with each request. It is an optional parameter for HTTP, HTTPS, and Transaction monitors. You can see a full list of HTTP header fields at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_header_fields.

When you add/edit a monitor, click the Advanced tab and add your custom headers (in JSON-format) in the text area.

Here is an example:

    "custom_key_1": "custom_value_1",
    "custom_key_2": "custom_value_2"

Transaction Monitors

When you add/edit a monitor, add an optional "headers" action with any step that also has a "get" action. This is described in the following support article: https://support.pingometer.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002888205-What-are-commands-
